Fundraising & Events

We have held 2 events so far, both very encouraging. Firstly a Scottish country dancing night was organised by Mr &Mrs Ritchie. This started the fundraising with £505 donated. Next was the Teddy bears picnic, the first event held in the woods on Saturday, 16th July 2005. This was a great day out for all involved and we had photos in the local press. Over 140 people came down to the woods and were surprised by how much fun was waiting there!
There are many ideas for fundraising but no dates have been set as yet. A black tie ball is in the planning stage, as is a biodegradable balloon race. If you could help with these or have ideas for fund raising contact one of the Directors.
