DCT is now enrolled as an Environmental Body (EB) with Entrust, the regulatory body that administers the Landfill Tax Credit Scheme (LTCS).

The LTCS is a source of funding for qualifying organisations to enable them to carry out certain types of environmental projects.

Qualifying projects must meet strict criteria e.g. conserve or promote biological diversity or enhance a natural habitat. The beneficiaries must ensure public access and not operate with a view to profit.

Enrolment in the Scheme means that DCT can receive up to 6.8% of the tax due to the Treasury payable by a Landfill Operator.'
