Ian Philip retires at the AGM 2011

Ian Philip came to the end of his 6 year term as a founder Director and latterly Chairman of Dunning Community Trust.

Ian was presented with a beautiful wooden bowl to mark his contribution, which includes assisting with the initial purchase of Kincladie, being a mainstay of all the events over the years as well as the day-to-day maintenance of the woodland.

The bowl is of particular significance as it was made from a beech tree from Kincladie that was brought down in a storm a few years ago.  It was made, and generously donated, by local craftsman Daryl Fossett and the Directors of DCT are most grateful to him for making this special gift to mark Ian's very significant contribution.

Pictured  with Ian  is new  DCT  Chairman Andrew Paterson who presented  the bowl  at the recent AGM.
